Register to take part in a hands-on Fire Cider Making Class with Alexabdra Sterling, of Delicious Dirt Farm & Apothecary, on Saturday October 26, 11 AM, right here at The Farm Store.
Delicious Dirt Farm & Apothecary is located in Northern Vermont on unceded Abeknaki territory. We grow a variety of vegetables, fruit, culinary and medicinal herbs. The farm implements permaculture principles, low impact, regenerative, organic practices. Their apothecary is grounded in empowering people with herbal support that is effective and accessible. Fire Cider is an especially beneficial beverage to have on hand during the colder months. It is invigorating and provides numerous health benefits, from reducing sinus congestion and warding off cold and flu to aiding digestion. Apple cider is infused with various ingredients, such as horseradish, turmeric and citrus. It is then strained and sweetened, often with honey.
